Based off of a real buildings in HK from photo reference I presentyou with Tin King Estate! A public housing estate (Chinese: ????) is ahousing estate in Hong Kong mainly built by the Hong Kong HousingAuthority and the Hong Kong Housing Society.

About half of HongKong residents now live in public housing estates and other towerblocks with some form of subsidy. Rents are cheaper than ordinaryhousing, and are heavily subsidised, financed by financial activitiessuch as rents and charges collected from car parks and shops within ornear the estates.

They are usually located in the remote or lessaccessible parts of the territory, but urban expansion has put some ofthem in the heart of the urban area. Home Ownership Scheme flats,unlike the public housing estates, are sold to the owners at discountedprices.

The vast majority of the estates are high-rise buildings, and the recent buildings of 2005 reach 40 storeys.

Thisdownload contains a host of new lots for Bixel's previously releasedSceneway Garden tower complex. Three lot series are included to suitdifferent playing styles and to make the recreation of such an enormouscomplex (and even bigger ones!) possible without using the CAM!

1) A revamp of the original landmark lots for eyecandy ploppers,

2) An all-new, simple growable lot series for the down-to-earth player who prefers a streamlined plugins folder, and

3) An all-new deluxe growable series of no less than 10(!) lots to unleash the full HK madness upon your cities.

Read on to find out which one you prefer - or maybe you just use all of them?

Please note that you will need the .sc4model files from Bixel's original upload, or you will see brown boxes!

1) The landmark lots revisited


This series comprises 4 lots.They maintain the true-to life tower orientation of the originalupload, but the ground has been made all new from scratch. You will nowfind an intricately shaped, lively and colourful plaza that connectsthe towers. A zoning plan for correct layout is provided.

The values have been adjusted as well, and all four icons have been remade.
Lots 1 & 2 have a LM effect of +40 over 20 tiles and an equally strong park effect.
Lot 3 has a LM and park effect of +50 over 20 tiles each. Lot 4 has a LM and park effect of +40 over 15 tiles.
You will find all icons grouped conveniently together in your landmarks menu. The plop cost ranges from 80,000 to 100,000.

2) The simple growable lots

This series consists of 3 lots.Each lot features a single tower on it, which will grow just like anyother residential structure. The three versions are for the threeslightly different tower models: Lot A for Tower A, Lot B for Tower Band Lot C... you guess. All lots feature some diagonal textures andlampposts with integrated light cones.

The only difference isthat at night different windows are lit. This was made to avoid obviousrepetition on the original, multi-tower lot. For these growable lots,it's not strictly necessary, hence you can also choose to keep just onelot. This will be easiest on your plugins folder.

Some key stats for these growables:

The other stats are in line with in-game buildings... you should know me by now. ;)

3) The deluxe growable lots

Theselots have been made with the intention to allow big city players animpressive recreation of HK-style mega-complexes. For this purpose,this series contains no less than 10 lots.

Theidea is that you can zone strips of 3x7 or 4x7 next to another, and thelots that will grow there will join seamlessly at both sides and createthe illusion of a continuous complex!

There are lots with onetower up front at the street or further back on the lot, two towers ina straight line or slightly offset, with soccer pitches or basketballcourts... lots of variation included!

To top it off, the depth of 7 tiles makes these lots perfectly controllable. You won't get them unless you zone for them.

Installation

Justunzip into your plugins folder and delete the sub-folder(s) of anyversion(s) you wouldn't like to use. You need to have Bixel's modelfiles from the original upload as well. I suggest keeping all filestogether to keep a better overview of your plugins.

To uninstall, first bulldoze all instances of the included lots in all cities, save and exit. Then delete the files.

Phew,that's it... I hope you will forgive me for not including a neat HTMLreadme, but these things just take too much time I'd rather spend onlotting or modding.

Before you whine about dependencies, bear in mind that (a) the packs I used are either extremely common for custom content users (SG props, BSC textures pack) and/or very lightweight (SFBT essentials)
Besides, you get 17 lots in exchange,and I guess you could say that I took much advantage of the additionalpossibilities these packs gave me - in fact, that was the point behindthese lots: To finally make full use of dependencies I had to have forother reasons anyway.

I hope you have fun with these lots! If you don't like them, you are eligible for a full refund of the money you paid for obtaining them. Thank you.

HK Caribbean Coast Phase 1

Introduction / OverviewCaribbean Coast Caribbean Coast (traditionalChinese: ???) is a multiphase residential and commercial development inTung Chung as part of the station development of Tung Chung MTRStation. It was developed by Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited, andHutchison Whampoa Limited. As the grantee of the lot, MTR Corporationwas retained as the property manager overseeing the estate.

Kwai Chung is a Hong Kong Government Estate. These are all over Hong Kong and they provide safe, and affordable housing to many citizens. This version using Simfox's Trunite style for added realism. New render and night lights for new look. Two growable versions 8x4 and 6x3.

Installation

First of all, it is recommended to unzip the entire content of this ZIP into some archive folder where you keep all building versions, readme, and screenshots, and maybe even back it up onto a CD or an external HD together with your other SC4 stuff. This way, if you need to clean your HD and reinstall your OS, you can simply copy the stuff from your backup archive into your plugins folder instead of having to download all plugins anew.

That said, in order to use this building in game, I suggest you first go to your plugins folder and make a sub-folder for the Kwai Chung Revisited.
Then, simply copy the .sc4model filea (the actual building model) plus the sub-folder(s) of whatever version(s) you'd like to use into the newly created folder.

To uninstall a version you don't like, first bulldoze all instances of that version in your cities, then save the cities and exit. Now you can safely remove the version without running any risk to get crashes or facing any other inconvenience.

Introduction / Overview

This is a recreation of Grand Terrace, a residential tower from Western/Central Hong Kong, CN. The building was finished in 2001 and is composed of a rather massive base with integrated parking garage, on top of which a split tower rises to roughly 147 metres.

This BAT recreation will bring Grand Terrace to your cities as a high-wealth residential building or as a static landmark. Both versions are intended for use on corners (although the landmark version can of course be placed anywhere you like) and feature a transit-enabled street entrance that visually connects to the driveway on the lot which leads to the parking garage. The building doesn't work as a transit switch or hub in any way, though, so the connection is merely eye candy.

Inside this ZIP archive, you will find the following versions:

ploppable landmark (transit-enabled)
growable R$$$ (transit-enabled)

A quick reminder about transit-enabled lots: Connecting the lots to your traffic network wherever possible is optional, and not connecting them will not affect the functionality of the building.
Please remember that once a transit-enabled growable lot has grown, it cannot be overgrown by other lots automatically, i.e. once it's there, it will stay there forever unless you bulldoze it.
